Maybe I’m just really behind the times, but I just saw this amazing little gizmo set up at my local Future Shop. Basically you can take any DVD in the store (there are thousands of them) and swipe the bar code over it, and then the machine instantly shows you the trailer for whatever DVD you swiped over it. I must have played with this thing for about 45 minutes swiping movies I had never heard of just to see the trailers (I looked really stupid).
When you think about it√¢‚Ǩ¬¶ the actual technology in this gizmo is pretty simple. Makes me wonder why someone didn’t come up with something like this a LONG time ago. You can click on the image to see a larger version.
