Manchurian Candidate director Jonathan Demme’s recent interview with NPR has been archived on the radio network’s website and is available here. Yep, he talks politics which is sure to get the ol’ left-right fires a-burnin’. In fact, they already are. an interesting note: my friend Jimmy Roche made a good amount of props for the movie. His dad James has made appearances in some of Demme’s other movies, and Demme himself came to our school’s production of The Night of the Living Dead, which was directed by Jimmy.
