In the absence of any other family films to compete against, even a bad movie can rake in huge money… and that’s just what Shark Tale is doing… to the tune of over $80 million and #1 at the box office in two weeks. Wow, it’s like 3D animation companies are actually money growing farms these days

The distributors were smart to open the movie in October verses the summer. What else in the family movie category was there to see? And yeah, I hear it’s pretty tacky.
