As I mentioned in my review, Spider-Man 2 ended up exceeding all my expectations, and surpassed the original in just about every way. It’s just a solid solid film. Reuters is now reporting that the DVD, a 2 disc set, will be released in time for Christmas (smart move) on November 30th.
The DVD release will contain more than 10 hours of all-new content. Bonus features include a blooper reel, a “Spidey Sense 2” trivia track, four original online featurettes, a documentary on the making of the film, and a multi-angle, behind-the-scenes look at the climatic fight sequence between Spider-Man and Doc Ock.
As an interesting side note, Spider-Man 2 was my early pick to EASILY be the #1 box office winner of the year… as it turns out it isn’t even the #1 film of the summer. As a matter of fact it sits at #3 behind Shrek 2 and Passion of the Christ. Who knew?

after some amazing fight scenes it turned into a TOTAL chick-flick if you ask me.

good! i work at a video store and now i can put an end to those infamous “when’s spidey 2 out?” questions i get asked on a daily basis! i shall put together a sign tonight with NOV.30th written on it and i will wear it around my neck so that people are answered before i’m approached and i can be at peace…
