  1. Whatever you may think of Bush and Co., their nominations and the fact that they “won” when they aren’t even actors, combined with with Britney Spears for her support of Bush just really doesn’t make sense.

I really used to get a kick out the awards and looked forward to them, but as far as I’m concerned the Razzies have just jumped the shark and marginalized their award by being overtly political.

  2. Nap Dynamite was indeed bad, yes. I see it as a widely overrated indie film.

Passion was also terrible. When you get beyond the controversy and cinematography, look at it honestly and tell me that’s a good “movie”.

2004 was really a terrible year in movies. One of the worst. Movies became less about entertainment and more about politics and marketing.

  3. I think its worth mentioning that Halle Berry actually went to the awards (with her Oscar in hand) to accept her Razzie. I have to give her credit here. She said her mom taught her to be a good winner, and a good loser.

I saw Catwoman… it was bad, but I don’t think it was the worst this year. I’m going to get flamed like a fireball for this, but my pick goes to Napoleon Dynamite, oh man…. but that’s just me.
