  1. I watched the trailer so many times I forget. I loved it!!!.

If I loved the trailer, i’ll probably cry for the first time since I was a kid through the movie.

For a question posted earlier. I think the holograms in the jedi council are jedi members that have been murdered by the sith. HINT: I reckocnised one of the holograms to be the guy with a tall head and no ears. In the trailer you see him turn around, and then quickly in the next scene theres a cloner shooting.

  2. I havent done my merchandise shopping yet, I am here in the UK and there’s not too many TOYS R US where I live. But I will definitely buy some stuff, I will order some from the Star Wars shop online for the others.

Did you get a new lightsaber just in case? *winks*

  3. What’s wrong with Hoth?… just imagine a light saber duel in the icy top of the Echo Base… sabers swinging here and there, cutting the air and the thin snow with the electric noise, making strange sounds of vaporized water… √Ǭ°if the sabers had a silver crystal you would never see the blade!… well, i’d like to see that…

  4. I’ve just book my ticket for Episode III tonight, at the ODEon Leicester Square for May 19 at 10:30 am. I feel bad that there are no midnight screening and that’s why I stayed up till midnight hoping to book it.

    CRUMBS.

Nevertheless, I will enjoy just as much.

    MTFBWYA!!!!

  5. Stop ittttttt! I dont have these stuff just yet. Clone Wars wont be released in the UK until May I heard. I shall get “Labyrinth of Evil” on my next payslip *sigh*. I havent even started reading “The Approaching Storm” from 3 years ago! What’s the Thrawn trilogy about? This is EU now is it?

Have you checked out the Star Wars.com site today jason? Go and check it out!

  6. Yea you should, it’s an excellant game. You get pretty attached to your squadmates, lol. Yeah I will be getting Clone Wars, it isn’t released until tomorrow.

I’d like to get Labryinth of Evil too..I read the first 20 pages or so and it was pretty good. Have you read the Thrawn trilogy?

  7. Ahhh…3 times on the first day is not bad at all. I might just be doing the same!

I found out from TFN today that there will be an advanced ticket sales for Episode III in the UK cinemas and I am booking it on March 24! Yippeeee!!!

No, I dont have Republic Commando, should I get it? I am sure you got the Clone Wars animation already, I have read good reviews about it so far!

    MTFBWY!

  8. Lol, I meant 3 times on the 19th. I plan on watching I and II before I go to the theater, then when I get home I’ll watch IV-VI. I like the 2nd half of II..but overall probably Episode VI. Do you have Republic Commando?

  9. Justthree times??? I saw TPM- 5, AOTC- 7 so I am going to break records here!

I am also off on the 19th and 20th, as a beginning of a long Star Wars weekend.

What’s your fave Star Wars movie ever?

  10. I’m pretty sure we’ll have an advance screening here. I’m taking the 19th off, and I’m planning on seeing it three times. Three for three, lol.

  11. You couldnt have possibly watched it more than I have?! LOL

So what plans have you made for May 19? I hope we have a midnight screening here in the UK!!! I cant wait!!!

  12. Yea Simone..it was excellant. Best trailer I’ve seen. Lol..probably’ve watched it about 50 times. I’d say I watched the teaser over 200 times.

  13. Hi Jason, Simone here, welcome to our little Star Wars club here at TMB.

I have been reading up on the other planets just this weekend and glad you mentioned Endor, I totally forgot about it!

What can you say about the trailer? Goosebumps everywhere?

  14. As to a few questions that were earlier asked..Anakin got his scar from a duel with a Dark Jedi sometime during the clone wars, Anakin and Obi seem to be in a contest of Force strength, and it is Obi Wan who is encircled by all the battle droids..I presume that’s when he fights Grievous’s bodyguards.

  15. I like Naboo for Theed..great looking city. Dantooine was a very pretty planet..but everyone seems to be forgetting the forest planets: Endor and Kashyyyk. Nothing beats several kilometer high Wroshyr trees.

  16. Peter, I didnt know that bit of trivia that they also shot scenes from Naboo in Seville, I thought it was just in Lake Como. Tunisia is where they shot Tatooine right, and of course most of the other planets were just CG.

Everytime I watch AotC and see Kamino I always wish it would have been the planet for me. I love water!

  17. That link wasn’t to a widescreen version.

Where can I DOWNLOAD a widescreen version of the trailer. NOT fullscreen. Widescreen. Like the way it is at starwars.com. But Downloadable.

  18. Dantooine looks GREAT in the game Knights of the Old Republic, but that would be considered Expanded Universe, and that√Ǭ¥s another story. Yahvin… few was seen of it.

Naboo was shot also in Sevilla, Spain… my delightful country (a few seconds in the Clones film). Muahahaha… note the irony.

If we consider the Death Star a planet, THAT is the best planet of Star Wars *lol*

  19. Not a romantic Peter, I’m just a woman! LOL

I was actually thinking of Hoth but no, I’d freeze to death if I was there, I am in England and I cant stand it here! I would love to see what Alderaan would have looked like before the Death Star blew it up (I cant breathe!)

As for Naboo, thinking they shot it in Lake Como in Italy but their lake is actually disgusting.

What about Yanvin, Dantooine or maybe Ansion? *winks*

  20. Kinda romantic person u are… huhu… anyway, we agree in some planets. Geonosis is very rocky and red, too red for my taste. U see, I value colors in the environment. Maybe that√Ǭ¥s why I don√Ǭ¥t like Hoth, it√Ǭ¥s only white lol.

I forgot about Dagobah. Quite interesting place, seems to me.

Naboo? Oh man, it√Ǭ¥s… like a clich√ɬ© planet from Burroughs Princess of Mars. Rennaisance palaces, green pastures, enchanting lakes… oh gee that√Ǭ¥s like candy sugar… u end fed up with it.

From concept art I have seen, one REALLY interesting planet would be Alderaan! But, though I heard rumours about it appearing in Sith, it will only be glimpses it seems. A pity. The concept art was magnificent: big high tech cities between seas of green grass, and people devoted to arts, culture and peace.

A bit like the Minbari planet from Babylon 5.

  21. Oh youre very fussy, okay planets it is!

    1) Kamino (I love the weather!!!)

    2) Genosis (looks kinda romantic)

    3) Tatooine (that scene with Anakin, and the Jawas & the Sandcrawler in AoTC was breathtaking!)

I agree Bespin is lovely in the night!

Why what’s wrong in Naboo? *winks*

  22. You mean planets, right?

    Huh… My favourite ones are:

    1) Coruscant (lol)

    2) Tatooine

    3) Kamino

As a single scenario, the Cloud City in Bespin is the best of all the saga. It´s wondrous!

    Note: I hate Naboo!

  23. Another thing I would like to mention about the trailer and the movie. It has been said that there will be more planets in Sith than in any of the others.

But, as far as it goes, the action of Sith takes place in four clearly distinct (Lucas likes that) planets:

    -The omnipresent Coruscant.

    -The mysterious and rocky Utapau.

    -The forest humid wookie Kashyyk.

    -And the Hell itself, Mustafar.

Coruscant takes a central role in this trilogy of prequels. I remember the first time I saw it in TPM… I opened my mouth and said “wowow hoy many ships flying!” It was amazin to see. Now I am almost tired of seeing them.

    Oh gee…

  24. Where on earth can we download a widescreen version of the trailer?

Theres a widescreen version on starwars.com, but it’s not downloadable. I need a frikin widescreen trailer!!!!!!!!!

  25. -Who is standing in the middle with those droids around him?

That is General Grevious, the leader of the seperatist army. For more info try checking out the star wars website, the have a nearly bottomless data bank with stuff from all the movies (including EpisodeIII)

  26. There is another.

Another who rules more than Palpatine. More than Yoda. More than Annakin and Obi Wan. More than anyone else. And it has been seen in the prequels.

    Chew that slowly.

    Nuff said!

  27. I wouldnt even have noticed if Peter here didnt mention it. I play the trailer every time I log on, I know its just a trailer but I can not get over it, the trailer alone has taken over my life! Share with us other things you keep seeing will you now David? *winks*

Palpatine is so going to be the MAN!!!!

  28. Yeah, the sounds at the end tricked me out too. I missed it the first few times, but that scene with Palpatine and Sly Moore at the ‘opera’ was pretty cool.

My favorite part is when everything goes HORRIBLY WRONG…like when Mace enteres Palpatine’s quarters…or Yoda vs. Darth Sidious in the Senate.

C3-PO saying “I feel so helpless.” was pretty tight too.

I see something new every time I watch it!

  29. The possibilities are endless in a Star Wars movie Peter, that’s why we love this movie so much. I will keep an eye on those issues you have raised!

  30. When you see a trailer 20+ times in a row u miss nottin´.

Yes, he was Dooku. Annakin always takes revenge on whom dares to defeat him.

My theory on that sound: is the heart of Annakin beating through the healing machine after the duel. We can make an unofficial bet on that.

Other things in the trailer that intrigued me (lol I am a fanatic):

-Where did Annakin get that eye scar?

-How can holograms be seated in the Jedi Council?

-Who is standing in the middle with those droids around him?

-Why does Bail Organa shout for help?

-How does Annakin get hanging from what seems an elevator?

-What is Obi Wan doing what his hands, presumably with the aid of the Force?

    Interesting questions…

    Huhuhu.

  31. Hey Peter I just watched the trailer again now and I did hear it, boy youve got superhearing! Could it be coming from Darth Vader’s suit, the suit does respirate him doesnt it? It sounded like some machine.

Was that Count Dooku that Anakin was fighting with in front of Palpatine?

  32. In the trailer, at the end, when u see the credits, there is sound like a liquid heart or something like that. And these guys never leave random traces. That must mean something!

If I had to choose, I would choose to be a Jedi, I guess. Siths are very cool but I prefer Yoda´s ways. Huhuhu.

  33. Continuing the discussion on the trailer (lol), I don´t want this movie to mess up with Oscars. No, really.

I think Mel Gibson was right when he said couple of days ago that Oscars are a Mediocrity Feast. This year they have been horrible.

Quoting McDiarmid (I didn√Ǭ¥t know he was a Sir, but he is a stunningly good actor), “I have said many times before now, ROTS will be the best of all”

I said that even after all the bashing after the first two prequels. Well, whatever good is the movie, I don´t care about the prizes. I know Star Wars was awarded with (five or so) golden statuettes, but really, that has nothing to do with cinema as a form of art and entertainment, which is the way I see it.

I miss General Grievous in the trailer. How wise are in Lucasfilm to hide from us his deeds until the movie itself.

  34. LOL @ Peter! What are you up to? What are you insinuating right there you Jedi you? Or can I say that its just so kewl to be a Sith right now???

I cant stop laughing here I think I need some oxygen soon! *laughs*

  35. Thanks for the torrent location, but even better yet THANK YOU to Kiru_Biru!!!

Are you going to time how long it takes from the time the trailer was put up and when you get a “Cease and Desist” from Lucasfilm?

    Ha!

Still, thanks again. I’ve got my copy!

  36. OH MY GOD.

Whatever I said about ROTS before, you can print it out, wrap it up in a ball, ram it down my throat and make me eat it.

If we’re to go by that trailer, then this is going to be the Star Wars movie, without a doubt.

    That made my heart leap.
