a couple of sissies didn’t make the cut, so everyone is crying. Yes bbm made more money, but just face it, more people liked CRASH than some ole faggoty ass movie. Now some people are upset over its defeat. The writer is just a whiny little bitch who needs to stop being so childish about this thing. She made money, why is she still salty. Oh well, everyone doesn’t praise sissy films. We like structure. BBM was just another cry out for attention.

Hey Pierre,

That’s totally hypocritical and you know it. If Jack had said “And the Oscar goes to Brokeback Mountain” then she would have been fine with the whole thing and talked about how much she loves the Oscars and the Academy.

But she didn’t win… she lost. And now suddenly she sees them in a totally different light. All because her movie lost to a better movie. What a suck.

Thank you Annie for not playing nice and as being as honest as your original story.

She is not “hollywood” she is a human being who was shown disdain, and felt the evening was shallow and pointless.

Um are we disagreeing?? HOllywood has been so pompous and self-indulgant we’ve found other venues in which to spend our time ( just look at box office returns )

it’s good to hear someone having tha willingness to call a cow… a cow.

let the dollars speak for themselves. Crash – $52.0 million gross USA. Brokeback Mountain – &82.0 million gross USA. BBM – $83.0 million gross in foreign countries.

BBM will be long remembered as the movie that should have won because of its uniquely presented themes. Crash will go down as one of those same old movies made in a hundred different ways that stole the show because of politics and discrimination.

Oscars equal cowardice.
