A new poster for Saw 3 has been released.¬† For those of you who don’t already know, here’s the plot outline for the film:
With his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.
One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), bedridden and on the verge of death. She is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw’s own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that he has a much bigger plan for both of them…

This is a cool poster..also a lot easier on the eyes than severed fingers for part 2.

I liked the first movie but not enough to bother with the sequel. That, though, is a pretty sweet poster. Not something I’d hang on my wall, mind.
They’re really churning these movies out fast, aren’t they?

Although, if I recall correctly, it was a crappy movie.
Never saw, no pun intended =), the first two Saw movies. Are they any good?
I love the posters for these films. It’s fun to see how they play out with a body part chopped and hacked into a number. I’m looking forward to this film, the plot doesn’t seem so too shitty the more that is released about it.
First one was pretty decent. Second one was old before it even started. I didn’t enjoy it at all. I’ve lost all interest in this franchise.
Pretty boring francise anyway. If they put a eye. mouth, or butt on the poster it wouldn’t matter. The movies were boring and the second was even more boring.
But people like the series and if the producers can make money more gusto to them.
You gotta hand to the SAW people they all ways find a way to make the poster as uncommercial as posible.
Did someone just say “BORING” ?!?!? Am I hearing correctly?? How the hell can you possibly think Saw 1 and 2 were boring?!?!? I have seen a shitload of movies in my day, and these two films are easily the two most gripping, tense, and shocking movies I’ve ever seen. The torture puzzles that Jigsaw make up are completely un-nerving and bone-chilling and watching the characters subject themselves to the pain to save their own life, is even more creepy. The plotline for the first Saw was a bit dry, I admit, but it still delivered twist after twist and captivated the attention of most of Earth’s population. Its immensely-successful sequel had all the makings for a Hollywood classic horror movie. Millions and millions of people across the world think that these two films were insanely scary and tense, and they are not wrong. If you truly believe that the Saw franchise is “boring”, you seriously need to have your head checked.
As for this poster, it’s okay, but nothing spectacular. I guess they are running out of body parts that can be used to portray numbers. Personally I cannot wait for the movie. Number one was awesome, number two was brilliant. I’m looking forward to seeing how much further they can take it.
I think Chris Benoit should star in it…it will make the movie awesome…imagine him and jigsaw having a technical match…or make Benoit make 40 Days 40 Nights Part 2.

i didnt know simon baker had brothers. Im his biggest fan hey.Land of the Dead was a great movie he starred in. I better add that he has 2 brothers on my web site! Thanks for the information Jonathan.
