Doug and John Podcasting The Oscars Tonight!
Hey there folks, Giovanni here.
Ok, just a reminder that for the second year in a row, Doug and I will be podcast throughout the Oscars tonight. The format will be the same as last year. Everyone seemed to get a pretty big kick out of it so we thought we’d do it again.
So here’s how it will work. Doug and I will put up a 10 minutes pre-show about 15 minutes before the Oscars start… and then we’ll be putting up short 90 second installments in each commercial break of the show. So Check back here tonight about 10 or 15 minutes before the Oscars start for our pre-show… and then come back during each commercial break for our thoughts. Should be a lot of fun tonight!
Why not use your newly acquired technology and go live for all 4 hours?
With live chatting that would be awesome…

That’s a great idea, however the Now In LA networks already has another show on at that time.
ah, so no way of streaming two shows at once then? Why not try some p2p program and do it yourself then. Not much upload needed at all for radio p2p.
http://www.peercast.org/ only takes a minute or two to set up.
Looking forward to it – still remember listening to the last bunch of Oscar broadcasts and almost pissing myself with laughter when Nagy described one of the winners as having ‘arms that looked fifty years older then she did’.

Will the individual oscar segments be up later for download or will we just have to catch them individually before the next one comes up?

I’d like to be able to look at a picture of John and Doug — particularly John — while the podcast is going on. Can you please send me a picture? The larger resolution the better.
gio I am curious are you going to give ellen a fair chance to have you written her off already? I know you are not that happy about her presenting and I reallyinterested ins eeing what you think of her performance…I have a feeling she is going to be very funny
What happened to the leaked Oscar’s winners list. It was bogus but why post something then pull it down?
so that OSCAR winners leak that you posted earlier….did that end up accurate or was it bogus? and why did it come down off of the site?
