New Fido Trailer
Yes, I’m kind of sick of zombie movies. They’re all the same damn film these days: “Some virus gets out, killing people then brining them back to life as zombies who eat people… if you get bitten then you come back as a zombie yourself… only way to kill them… head… blah… blah … blah… no hope… we’re screwed… yadda yadda yadda” I just described every zombie movie made in the last 10 years (with some notable exceptions).
However, Fido has a bit of a different twist to it. I like what I’ve seen of it so far… but this new Fido trailer is the best one I’ve seen yet .

I saw Fido at the Toronto International Film Festival (it also played at Sundance last month) and thought it was drop-dead (and get back up again) funny. Think Shaun of the Dead meets Lassie, if you can wrap your head around that. Also, for a Canadian film it has great production values; the 1950s-era small-town America settings look beautiful. As does Carrie-Anne Moss, come to think of it.
I think this movie looks hilarious.
“What is that DAMN zombie doing in my easy boy?”
Priceless.
I saw this at VIFF and it was one of my best selections. It’s darn funny and I was happy to hear it was picked up. Personally though, I like the mini trailers better.
Billy Connolly as a Zombie.
Weird.
Despise the music choice of American Idiot. But oh well. Looks (un)deadly funny.
Funny! :D
LOL, yes, morbid comedy rules! ;p Can’t wait to see it.
