I’m not against a company editing the movie to make it “clean” and releasing it to their idiot religious right customer base, but only if (a) the company pays the studio/filmmakers/writers a generous fee (b) they heavily disclaim that this is NOT the original version and (c) if they make it clear that the original version is available (e.g. link to buy the original).

Are you also going to talk about how Harvey Weinstein is seriously contemplating splitting Grindhouse into two and re-releasing it in light of its poor box office and reports of people leaving the theater after the end of Planet Terror?

Especially in light of the diatribe of a few months ago against the decision to split them up initially in foreign markets. ;)
