Love and Other Impossible Pursuits

By Doug - May 16, 2007 - 11:48 America/Montreal

jlo.jpegJLO is an unstoppable force of all out ass assault! We learn of her new project from the movieweb:

Capitol Films has boarded the Jennifer Lopez starrer Love and Other Impossible Pursuits as a co-financier, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lopez will star in the movie written by Don Roos, who is lined up to direct from his own script. Produced by Marc Platt (Wanted), Impossible Pursuits is billed as a funny and moving story that details the story of a woman’s “tempestuous relationship with her young stepson.”

Yea, … I think this sounds terribly lame. I do not want to see a feature length movie that deals with a lady’s horrible relationship with her stepson. If I wanted to watch people fight with their kids for 90 minutes I would go to the mall.

JLO is able to put out some decent pop anthems that make you shake your junk in the clubs, but she is having a rough go of being a leading lady in the world of film. JLO is a leading lady because she is famous not because she is right for the roles, and that is a sad state of affairs. I do not dislike JLO – she would be fine in a supporting role and I think that should be her area of focus for now.

I listened to Jenny From The Block as I typed this article.

This would be a good movie if they just changed Tempestuous to incestuous, cause if my dad got re-married to JLO I would totally try to bang her.

    Thats just me though.

I’ll give her The Cell. Didn’t care for in Out of Sight (aside from being eyecandy) and everything else she’s been in, I’ve not been at all interested in. But The Cell was a twisted flick.

    Jennifer who?

Doesn’t she sing music that middle school girls like or something?

I didn’t know she wanted to act.
