The tone was perfect, if they tried to go more scary it would have fallen on its face, it is about sheep ffs. The comparison to Evil Dead is spot on because alot of films try to say they went for "Evil Dead" but for me this is the only film that went for it, and nailed it, actually Evil Aliens came pretty close. But I dunno. I'm surprized it's so well recieved. I listened in on a q&a some of the film makers/actors of this did with some high school kids at the cinema where I work, they seemed nice enough. Heh but the questions they were asked were monumentally retarded, one kid asked "Why would you choose such an un-scary animal to be the monster in this film?", hmm gosh, I dunno, tough one. Ick, this movie seemed so lame to me, and ugly (washed out, grainy) and unfunny. But I dunno. I’m surprized it’s so well recieved.
