I have to ask, you state this in your first post:

“I’ve already read some of the so-called “reviews” from the LA screening and not one of them talks about the plot, which tells me there isn’t one. The reviews all begin the same way, by apologizing for how bad the film is, then going on to say, “But it had transforming robots and that makes it the greatest movie that’s ever been made!”"

Do you have a link to said review(s) as every review I have seen so far out of Sydney and other screenings have nothing BUT positive things to say and as for not mentioning plot, since there is a lot not shown in the preview, and people probably do not want to ruin it for others.
