Get Smart Trailer
The new Get Smart Trailer has hit the web, and man, it has the exact feel that it should have. I really FEELS like Get Smart!
I’ve been anxiously awaiting this film to come out ever since I heard it was being made. As a little kid, I used to watch old Get Smart re-runs on TV on my lunch break right after Flintstones. Man I loved that show. When they first made the announcement that Steve Carell had been cast to play Maxwell Smart, I just knew they were on to something special.
The rest of the casting has been good for a movie like this too so far. The delicious Ann Hathaway as agent 99, our friend Ken Davitian as an evil agent of CHAOS, The Rock, Terence Stamp… all good stuff.

Now this has potential… so glad Carrell is speaking normal and not trying to copy Don Adam’s voice. Get Smart was a product of Mel Brooks so sign me up
I have never seen or heard of that tv show but Carell looks good in the role, not uncomfortable looking like he did in the Evan Almighty trailers.
I barely remember “Get Smart”, but after seeing this, I am kinda looking forward to seeing this movie. I like Steve Carell’s work (but not so much on Even Almighty) and I see that Peter Segal is slated to direct. This should be an interesting film.

Boo the trailer is gone. How do you not remember Get Smart? It is comedic genius at its finest. The fact that nick at nite no longer plays reruns leaves my soul a little empty inside.

It has a good cast, but I can’t help but be a little nervous; this was one of favorite shows growing up, I adored the reruns. I can’t get too excited for this yet maybe with the next trailer or as it gets closer.
i love get smart. total genius. goofy as hell. i dont know if anyone can do maxwell smart except don adams. but i laughed at this trailer and i hope this is good.

that teaser cracked me up!! you are totally right, it seems like they’ve nailed the whole ‘get smart’ feel and attitude. i used to watch the tv show all the time, but i never saw the movie (was there more than one?).
