Finally! I’ve been waiting so long for this movie. The trailer looks really good. I’ve got high expectations for Affleck’s directorial debut – hope I won’t be disappointed.

I have BASHED Affleck so many times, and here I am saying – this film – for an Affleck film – actually looks great. I was shocked to see he directed it. I hope I won’t have to recant this later.

i just think its kind of crazy to watch a trailer on Youtube *shudder.

Wow. Looks pretty damn good. Maybe he is better off behind the camera. I just think he made bad decisions or has a bad agent, as I thought he showed decent performances in movies like Good Will Hunting and Boiler Room (perhaps because they were supporting roles?). I would’ve thought Hollywoodland would’ve turned his career around but sadly, he didn’t do anything special in the role. So yeah, maybe he should stick to supporting roles and focus more on behind the camera work. We’ll see when this comes out.

As much as I’ve hated him in the past, I’m really rooting for him to be good behind the camera. I’m not sure why. I just am.

Agreed. I think this looks pretty good for a first feature. It did surprise me a little that it’s so polished and obviously well budgeted. I had always just assumed that if he or Damon ever made their own films it would be an “indie” affair. This looks far from it.

Nice. Child abduction shit is usually untouched in cinema, despite the fact that its a massively reccuring thing in todays society. Shame that Casey Affleck still mumbles a little.
