Japanese Resident Evil 3 Poster

By John Campea - July 9, 2007 - 11:42 America/Montreal

I guess it’s bad poster day around here. A new Japanese version of the upcoming “Resident Evil 3” movie has been floating around the web. You know, I’m one of those people that just doesn’t understand the appeal for ANYONE to like the resident evil movies. Aside from some cute chicks… I found them boring, no excitement, no scares, nothing cool whatsoever.

But, the franchise obviously has it’s fans, and that’s the best part about film… we all see something different. Still… even the most die hard Resident Evil fans can’t actually like this poster. It’s so bad it even manages to make Milla Jovovich look ugly (something I thought was scientifically impossible).

Poster looks like crap…but im one of those sad people that really enjoyed the franchise so I will be in line opening day to check it out.

  2. Calviin says:

Hate me if you want, but I like the poster. I was surprised when I read that you didn’t. Oh well. You’re allowed to be wrong once in a while. ^_~

  3. Kristina says:

The only reason to see these movies anymore is to see Milla’s obligatory twat shot. Seeing as how I’ve seen her twat in the first one against my will, I’ll skip this one.

  4. Michael says:

    Horrific poster.
She looks like Ellen Burstyn in Requiem For A Dream.

I don’t understand how they can continue to release movies that have absolutely no resemblance to the games. the games are slow paced stress filled creep fests. and the movies are just these weird suedo standard boring action flicks. The thing that has killed resident evil is the fact that they have too much money, the cast for these movies should be 5-6 people TOPS(not including zombies) and they should all follow there own stories that are parallel to the story you are following. LIKE THE GAMES.

The thing that makes me so sad is people go see these movies then go, “how can you play a game that’s crappy like that” and you have to explain that beyond the concept of zombies these movies have nothing to do with the amazing games.
