Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Still Has Life
Ever since there was word about “Freddy vs Jason”, people have been dying to see a “Freddy vs Jason vs Ash” movie. As a matter of fact, wheels were put in motion, a project did go into development… but ultimately nothing ever came of it. For those 8 of you who may not know, Ash is Bruce Campbell’s character from the Evil Dead franchise.
Bruce rules the known universe, and Ash rules the fiction universe. It’s just that simple. Seeing Ash throw down and kick Freddy and Jason’s ass would be amazing. Make that film for like $40 million and you’ve got a guaranteed money maker.
However, it seems that there may be some life left in the “Freddy vs Jason vs Ash” idea yet. They haven’t announced a MOVIE yet… but at Wizard they did announce another project. ShockTillYouDrop gives us this:
News fresh out of the Wizard World Convention in Chicago says that DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment are putting the horror threesome together in a “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash” six-part mini-series written by James Kuhoric based on a 30-page movie treatment written by former New Line exec Jeff Katz (who’s now at Fox). J. Scott Campbell and Eric Powell will provide the interlocking cover art.
Now, where there is life there is hope. Perhaps this could be the spark to get things going yet again? LET THE MIGHTY CHAINSAW HAND OF ASH RISE AND CLAIM BLOODY PLUNDER AGAIN!!!!!
Oh GOD. Can I dare hope that the film is still an option? I want to see this happen.

This will be pretty fucking awesome of they actually make this.
I could see some amazing intereaction between Ash and Freddy. Freddy has a dry sense of humor and it can be eve silly at times, while Ash was always great at taking things around him and making it funny. These two characters would work like a charm on screen.
I just wanna know if anyone here watches the TV show Burn Notice because Bruce Campbell is fucking awesome in it despite playing second fiddle.

Sound Designer: I watch it when I have time; I rarely have time for TV. But I do enjoy the show. Jeffrey Donovan’s great for the lead and Bruce Campbell is, well…Bruce Campbell.

love freddy vs jason would love to see it happen but at comic con Robert Englund stated that ash won’t be in the second freddy vs jason so it is unlikley it will happen
even though if its not coming to thearters i’ll be wating for it at least it gives it some light to something just like jon said.
I didn’t like the movie Freddy Vs Jason,
The movie was about Freddy and Jason, but the teenagers in it where more in the movie then both of them.. ok the story was good.. but it didn’t had any point.. and another one of it? omg .. what a waste.. i rather watch all nightmare on elmstreets again and all friday the 13th’s then i watch this movie.. omg ppl.. plz .. watch the original films first.. plz..
please let there be Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, Ash would kick their ass with his chainsaw and trusty boomstick i’d love to see that!!!!!
