They better change their numbers if they were relying on the hottest year of the last century being 1998. It was 1934. Throw away the hockey stick.

Global warming may be happening, but it is caused by the sun. Neptune and Mars are also warming, so I need actual proof before I alter my lifestyle, that is, if my lifestyle is causing the warming.

Hollywood will need to show me the way of conserving by staying home and video conferencing their next film festival, instead of flying in on their private jets. Also, Leo has one of the largest mansions in Hollywood, so unless he is opening his windows to cool it off, then don’t lecture me about my measly “carbon footprint”. You can’t preach about conserving, then continue burning enough fossil fuels to power an entire town. I don’t accept hypocrisy from my preacher, why would I accept it from a bunch of hypocritical Hollywood stars?

I think this is more about how this generation can help than just the information that Gore provided in his film. I think this film is also a little more varied in its opinions than just that of one man. It does feel a bit redundant but I think they’re just trying to help.

I have serious reservations when Hollywood gets involved in such projects. For one, they usually make a political statement about it and accuse the current administration, when in truth, neither political party really aims to change the status quo. Consider Gore. He had 8 years to really make an impact, yet now, by some enlightenment, he has ’seen the light’ and concerned that our “planet has a fever”.

Man, I want the best for us all, but I doubt that Hollywood has the gonads to really tackle this in a thoughtful, unbiased, and rational manner.

From what I understand ‘Truth’ told us what the problem was, and 11th Hour is going to suggest what we can do to help solve the problem. I don’t know, but looking forward to seeing this. If the smartest person in the world (Stephen Hawking) says that there is a problem, we need to listen.
