Doctor Strange is the sorceror supreme of our deminsion. I never read much of him but from what i have read and seen in the animated movie he really is an interesting character. It caught my attention and i really enjoy him. A live action movie will be what i will want to see.

Done right a Dr. Strange movie would be great. I dont get how people say there’s no way he could stand alone… Personally Dr. Strange is one of my favorite comic book characters and I’ve been waiting for a new movie. Actor casting is the only thing that i think would be tough for this movie.

I am a person who reads a lot of the comic book world, I also have the pleasure of knowing many people in many places. Here’s What i have collected in data on The Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange. Supposedly the idea has been tossed around about having Tim Curry, as in Tim Curry of Rocky Horror Picture Show Fame, play Dr. Strange, I think he could do it.

Another Thing i heard is that It might Not be Just Dr. Strange. We may get to see the ultimate mix of Marvels Supernaturals. If you all dont remember The Supernaturals was lead by Dr. Strange, consisted of Thor, Blade, and Ghost Rider. All these characters were not like any other superhero, hence there groups name. The Supernaturals.

Seeing as how we have seen an influx of Comic Movies coming to market, we may very well see the Arrival of this so called Movie. I think it would be interesting to see. Dr. Strange was a major player in many series of comics. cross overs to severl of marvels other major players. for Instance Doc Doom, and Dr. Strange have a strange past together. dont believe me check into it, you will be shocked.

I just watched the new animated Dr. Strange movie that Marvel put out on DVD. It was great! A well told origin story and introduction to Dr. Strange. Magical martial arts vs. Lovecraftian monsters. Like Crouching Tiger meets Ghostbusters. A live action Strange movie should take this version and improve upon it, maybe adding more humor and character development.

Of the four animated direct to video movies Marvel has put out, I think Dr. Strange is the best so far. The first Avengers movie was pretty good, but it’s sequel and the Iron Man movie were kinda weak. Marvel plans on putting out a new video each quarter, so there will be sequels and new hero titles introduced in the future. It’s a great idea and it allows for better quality animation and better story telling compared to DC’s stable of half-hour after-school TV shows. It’s also a great way to bring back lesser known characters and start the buzz for future live action blockbusters. I’d love to see a Ms. Marvel animated movie or maybe Spider-Woman.

I definitely recommend picking this video up, especially if you’ve never heard of Dr. Strange.

Also, Adrian Brody would make a great live action Dr. Strange, I think. That is, if the can’t get Johnny Depp of course!

Doc Strange would be great, as long as they don’t try to modernize him. His enemies weren’t your typical two bit bank robbers, or criminal masterminds. He dealt with the occult, travelled to other dimensions and fought creatures beyond our human comprehension.

I’d prefer the powers that be were less obsessed with making these characters into movies and instead do a series. Sure when the movies smash box office records they make mad money. Though the studios tend to be creative on how much profit a movie makes. But when they flop, they really flop.

If you “rest your case” then your case is pretty weak. Blade was an exception… made $70 million… not bad.

So what happens when they do it on minor characters:

Elektra – BOMB
Catwoman – BOMB

It is POSSIBLE that they can work… but it’s an uphill battle.
