Around The Web – September 19th 2007

Here are some of the other movie related news items floating around the web today that you might be interested in:

Tatum O’Neal to star in “Saving Grace” directing debut of singer-actress Connie Stevens.

Ryan Reynolds joins Adventureland I love Reynolds… but I just don’t think this one sounds all that interesting. “Jesse Eisenberg stars as an uptight recent college grad who is forced to take a degrading minimum-wage job at the local amusement park when he realizes he can’t afford his dream European tour. The experience helps him to loosen up a bit as he finds first love, forms new friendships and emerges with a newfound sense of maturity just in time to enter the real world in the fall. Reynolds will play an aspiring rock star and the icon of cool to all the kids working at the park. Stewart will play the romantic lead, a tomboy who also works at the park.”

Herzog sends witty postcard from “End of World” “”Encounters at the End of the World” finds Herzog accepting an invitation from the National Science Foundation to pay a visit to Antarctica’s McMurdo Station, despite having warned them in advance that he’s not at all inclined to make a penguin film.

Steven Seagal is starring in “A Higher Form of Learning,” a direct-to-DVD thriller I’m gong to line up at Blockbuster right now

Warner Bros. has bought Stallions “Stallions tackles 21st century fatherhood through the eyes of four longtime buddies. Three of the friends, all with new babies, struggle with the pressures of being a modern dad: lack of sex, annoying in-laws, changes of lifestyle and identity. Meanwhile, their womanizing bachelor friend, envious of his pals’ seemingly more meaningful lives, comes down with an unlikely case of baby fever.”

  1. Hey Gio, that’s the best title for a Sensei Seagal movie yet. It’s something which he seems to know almost nothing about….and it’s going right to DVD cause the FBI said so…lol

That Nat’l Treasure 2 website is awesome. Its refreshing to so sites with actual content from the film, as opposed to all the faux-sites that provide no kind of delightful nuggets for a nerd of my caliber. I reccomend the “Gates Challenge” under the ‘games’ tab for killing time during precious work hours. LOL!
