Tarantino Explains Top Gun
It’s not even that funny when you really think about it… but for some reason this thing just made me laugh my fool ass off. Can’t explain why… it just did. SWORD FIGHT!

I bet roger avary wrote this…just like he did Res Dogs; Pulp Fiction etc… why do you think death proof got panned for it’s painful and shitty dialogue.

The Movie is called Sleep With Me http://imdb.com/title/tt0111218/ and the Top Gun speech has made it fameous. I love this speech, unfortunatly the quotes from Top Gun are modified to fit. Instead of “You can ride my tail any time” Iceman actually tells Maverick, “You can be my wingman any time.”
LOL awesome, this part of the movie is what crowned this to what it is today.
It’s a shame he says ‘fuck’ so many times. Otherwise this would actually be a great example to explain analysis to my first year students! (Um, first year University level, of course)
yeah matty roger avery must have written res dogs and pulp fiction…i mean his films (killiing zoe , rules of attraction)are just so awesome….sorry did i say awesome i meant FUCKING TERRIBLE.

Hehehe. I thought Topgun was pretty gay when it first came out, but not for these reasons. :)

lol, thanks for the laugh. I worked at an Aviation/Fighter Pilot training camp for children and we had to watch Top Gun atleast 3 times a week with the campers…I wish Id had this clip to show a few of them…lol

Man, Top Gun was great. Far too few movies like that were made that time. All those old school Don Simpson/Tony Scott/Bruckheimer/Bay stuff… just way too few of them :(
