You're talking 4 movies before this Avengers movie. think about it also...can you picture a Thor and Captain America in todays society? Come on...they'd be better off bringing X-men, Hulk Iron Man Spiderman and Punisher or something like that...Daredevil...maybe...MAYBE a Silver Surfer and the Fantastic 4 and that would be sick....all up against something on the scale as that big dude Galactus or something. But Captain America and Thor would be too hard to try and bridge that gap, in a today world. Those heroes were from LONG before us.
