The Caretaker
It looks like this upcoming Valentines day we will have a halloween slash em up for you lovers to watch! The name of the film is The Caretaker and I present to you the synopsis I was given:
A group of teenage boys out to give their girlfriends a good scare on Halloween/Homecoming night head to an abandoned house in anout-of-the-way grapefruit orchard where they reveal the story of a real life urban legend “THE CARETAKER.”
This classic teen scream hosts an ensemble cast of ridiculously good looking kids and is spiced with an outlandish teacher (Jennifer Tilly) obsessed with getting famous by sleeping with a student and an over-protective father (Judd Nelson). Jonathan Breck (JeepersCreepers) gives a delightfully creepy performance as the crazy Limo Driver and Jim Lang (John Carpenter’s Mouth of Madness, Body Bags) delivers an original score sure to make you jump out of your seat.
As far as slasher films go – this is very formulaic and I am fine with that. I enjoy an 80’s style teen slasher films, and save for zombies it could be my favorite genre within the genre. Hot immoral sluts getting nude, getting wet and getting killed is the way life lessons were meant to be taught – through maximum violence!
The addition of Jennifer Tilly to anything is a good idea; she is a sultry succubus. In this movie she is a voracious cougar that hungers for the cocks of her own students! Glorious! This movie looks like it has B-Movie cheese appeal written all over it (in an good way) and I will certainly give it a watch upon its release. Until then – please enjoy the trailer!
