We have nabbed some exclusive pictures of the upcoming Gatchaman movie thanks to our friends at IESB:
I never had a chance to watch this cartoon as a youngster, so I have not been hunting for news about this project. These pictures do look kick-ass however. They remind me of video game cut scenes, and that is a fine look as far as I am concerned. For those of you that want to read an extended interview with the animators; you may do so at IESB.

When I was little, Gatchaman was called Battle of the Planet. Battle of the Planets, Speed Racer & Star Blazers were the best shows on tv back then, atleast for me. The Speed Racer trailer sucks & the movie will probably suck, but I hopefully Gatchaman will turn out okay.
I was a huge fan of the show growing up. I’m hoping they do a good job with it. Can’t wait!!
