It took the original classic and took a fat dump on it. Ving Rhames must be seriously hurting for money to appear in this. I, unfortunately, rented it and was utterly pissed that I had wasted 2 hours of my life and 3 bucks. Apparently, when you die, your flesh immediately rots away, you scream like a banshee, and you get the same powers as Spider-Man. I'd rather watch Xanadu starring Olivia Newton John in a room full of angry bikers and ever watch the re-make of Day of the Dead again. This movie was a cinematic abortion. I know the first was the worst of the Romero films so there is no big suprise this is not gonna be the best remake of the three but it looks fairly decent and if u are a fan of zombie movies i might suggest u see this.
