HELL FUCKING YES.

My fav of the series is Azkaban hands-down, but if Del Toro did Deathly Hallows, I know he’d do a killer job. The guy excels with magic/supernatural elements in his films, so Harry Potter is right up his alley.

I think he’d do a fantastic job but as far as i can tell, he’ll only be approached if David Yates decides not to do it. He’s the one with his foot in the door right now.

And i really don’t think that Cuaron has a chance of being asked.

I can’t think of anyone who I would be more excited about directing this film. What an amazing way to wrap up the series. Pray to the Movie Gods that this one comes true.

This may be the best possible marriage of material and Director, if it happens. The Question is weather the producers will let Guillermo Del Toro run with it. I think producers are going to want to put their 2 cents in and I’m almost positive that J.K. Rowlings has final say on the script. Del Toro’s gonna have to play with them, not vice-versa. Either way, I think his involvement in the project would be great.

Quidditch wasn’t really a part of the last 3 books at all. If it wasn’t in the books, it has no place in the movies. Why put that in, just to please the ADD kids for 5 minutes? Grow up!

That would be great though I find his non-Hollywood movies far superior as they are not bound by the strictures of commercial movie making.

Devil’s Backbone is great and Pan’s Labyrnith is a classic.
