Still a load of tosh! Surely it doesn't make a difference if you're on a campus "high-bandwidth" network or on a home-based cable or dsl or whatever network. All students need the net these days, and hell you can only watch so many films a day?!!?!?!

I also propose that someone downloading your film does not necessarily constitute "loss of revenue", as it doesn't necessarily mean that if the downloading option hadn't been available that they would have bought the dvd?

In summary.. the MPAA pulls these figures out their ass!

44 to 3 is quite a discrepancy!?! That's an understatement. Hell, 44 to 15 is quite a discrepancy and they've already admitted to those facts. Not to say that their ability to understand a universally applicable basic number system wasn't already questionable, but this only furthers support of the claim.

I want to see them put forth a pie chart showing where all the illegal downloading occurs. Of course, with their impeccable math skills, it'll take them 2 and a half pies because they'll add things up to over 100% for certain.
