looks cool but but it looks like a bunch of modern day builders building in the future.

Don't you think welding tools and scaffolding would have changed in the next 200 years? Seems like they're building a replica for some museum vs a ship that will fly in space...looks like shipyard for a modern day aircraft carrier rather than a shipyard of the future. Those details or lack of really bother me.

But I do like the mood, scope and feel of the trailer. Seems like the big time again for Trek.

I hope this is good and all the leaks up till now prove to be false. If this gets off to a bad start the franchise will surely suffer and probably won't be revived for a very long time.

This trailer has a nice mood that'll hopefully be the same in the film

Yeah its great Ron. I posted in a previous Star Trek article here.

BTW there is a viral site to - to access go to the official Star Trek and click on the red button that appears to the right of Under Construction. Or go directly to this link - http://www.ncc-1701.com

There are 4 webcams showing the ongoing construction of the Enterprise from various angles. Only three seem to be active right now. Here are their settings if you don't want to fool around:
[CAM 1: 564, CAM 2: 125, CAM 3: 955, CAM 4: 289

Pretty cool!

My self i am not a big Star Trek fan but I am looking forward to this film. Maybe the because what they did with 007 and that JJ Abrams ( I did not watch Cloverfield yet) is working on this film. Makes me want to watch this film. I am using my netflix to watch all the old tv shows and the films. I hope to be all done before this film comes out. After watching the trailer on HD I have to say it looks fucking sweet just don't tell any of my Star Wars friends out there ha ha ha.

I can't even wait... The ship looks awesome and I love that they are building in San Fransisco. The other thing I love is that William Shatner is not in it. I can feel the evil eyes and their daggers as I write this.

Holy moly, i didn't know (though i should have) that Michael Giacchino was going to be composing the score. That guy excels in every film he does and is quickly becoming my favourite composer right now. The thought of him doing a Jerry Goldsmith inspired Star Trek score in the loving way he homaged the Bond scores of John Barry in 'The Incredibles' is giving me wood.
