Braddy ..Im sure this movie is going to box offices even though is being shot in Eastern Europe.. There's also another movie being shot in Eastern Europe..The Messengers 2 by screenwriter Todd Farmer...Facing this movie I got really optimist sine I liked the first one starring one of my favorite sex and the city, characters and I believe that Martin Barnewitz will do an amazin job directing this movie starring Norman Reedus from American Gangster, mermaid from the Australian TV show H2o just add water Claire Holt, and Erbi Ago, a new face in the movie business. This prequel goes back to the farm from the first film to finally learn the story of John Rollins – the simple North Dakota farmer, struggling to save his farm and hold his family together. When he places a mysterious scarecrow in his field his luck changes for the better… but it may be at the cost of his sanity. These flicks seem to scare the crap out of people who are working on a higher intellectual level than the average trailer park dweller. It never fails, when I hear a person mention how dumb the Grudge movies are, chances are their intelligence quotient is around 62 and the Grudge and exposes them to non-linear story telling. Thinking about a movie hurts, right? I want everything in order, wrapped up with a bow on it. God fucking forbid I have to use logic and reasoning to figure out a plot. I LIKE SEEING PEOPLE BEING TORTURED FOR BEING CHILD MOLESTERS AND SUCH! God, please bless us American Idiots. I'm moving to Canada if another Republican gets in office. LaTeRZ! Luckily, I saw "Juon" initially and that set the bar for what the Americans could have done with it. The remake - sucked. It's disappointing how many great movies Asian writers and directors come out with that Americans don't see. I recommend to everyone, when a movie comes out, google it to see if it is a remake and see the remake first. It is remade for a purpose - because it was so good and has been overlooked. End of story, no redemption, do not pass go, do not make copy of cursed video tape, do not collect $200. That's what makes it so everlovin' frightening. I do have to admit though that American versions of The Grudge had me completely sleepless. It was like they took everything that scared the crap out of me and put it in one movie. I refuse to even let a copy of the dvd into my house. Ju-on didn't have that kind of effect, parts of it did, but not the whole.
