There is yet another new Indiana Jones 4 poster. This one comes to us via Paul (thanks man).
I am still skeptical about the new Indy film… but man that trailer kicked all sorts of sweet ass. As for this poster… I like the style of it, but Shia looks… well… lame. Your thoughts?
It looks okay, nothing spectaular. Bet you a million this is going to be the DVD boxart though.

I’m pretty sure that this isn’t a theatrical poster but a poster for some franchise crap, toys, candy or some other shit.

Shia looks scared, confused or both. Based on the trailer he is that way at the beginning of the movie, but probably not by the end. As many script iterations as Spielberg and Lucas went through to get to this point, surely they didn’t choose this. I hope it’s a fake.

Aside from Shia…..this is great! The int’l friends better take a look at the 80’s INdy posters. Go on, look at them! In the days before photoshop this is that you might find:
* Harrison Ford’s face and/or other actors faces are airbrushed or have airbrushed look
* The same color schemes
*The intent is to give a ’serial’ flavor…the poster after ths might have such a layout.

Did I say, ‘except for Shia’? Damn staight I did. Harrison alone would be enough. But if they needed Shia in this one sheet, they should have at least put a little bit of grit on him. GRIT!
It’s not the overall look of the poster that I don’t like, it’s the characters themselves. They don’t look right to me. They look awkward.
Yeah this looks fan made, I’d think it’s a fake or promotional but not an official movie poster. Was this shot taken at the recent toy fair, per chance?

Shia looks like a mix between Steve Perry and Ivanka (sp?) Trump.
Shia looks a little bewildered and bored. I can see this shot being a promo for some marketing items, but it doesn’t strike me as movie poster.
Ford looks like he’s ready to growl and bite someone. LoL
