Dr Tim, maybe you have never seen an Indiana Jones movie before, but there is no such thing as the Temple of Doom or artifacts from the bible (that have the qualities presented in the films) either.

Its called fiction Tim. If you put the book down once in a while you might get to enjoy some.

The reality of the Crystal Skulls is simply this: There are no Maya myths about crystal skulls * all that we know of their culture and civilization is based upon their writing * glyphs * their glyph system has been thoroughly translated, and there is no mention of crystal skulls * 13 or otherwise. The skulls are not Aztec either * though they have a resemblance to certain artifacts from throughout the region, Tenocha, Toltec, Mixtec, etc. The skulls are all frauds. Of the three most famous * the British Museum skull and the Louvre skull, they are the work of a 19th century forger.
