The new imagining of The Incredible Hulk helmed by Marvel themselves smashed the box office this weekend with an opening weekend gross of $54,537,800- an impressive number for a movie that had mixed expectations. Personally I feel the publicity in the home stretch before the opening emphasizing that they went back to the source material and paid homage to the still popular Bill Bixby TV version of The Hulk really helped. This should not be surprising as The Hulk is one of the top comics heroes of all time.

Please don’t let the teaser be the Hulk pounding the hell out of a metal wall for 10 seconds and that’s it. Show us something – do an Ironman – show us the Hulk and maybe 10 seconds of the baddy all Juiced up.

I don’t think it is unusal that genre pix such as Hulk would choose to play in front of 10,000 BC.

That last question you posed, Rodney, which way do you mean?! I think that 10,000 BC will get an audience with or without a Hulk trailer.. 10,000 BC is directed by Roland Emmerich. He’s a director whose films we’ll say we aren’t interested in seeing, but we’ll check it out anyway on opening weekend. If you mean that Universal is piggybacking on 10,000 BC and hope that 10,000 is a hit in hopes that the masses will check out the Hulk, that is a stupid question to ask…

However, ‘The Dark Knight’ is a no-brainer, since the same studio and production company (Warners and Legendary Pictures) backed 10,000 BC. As for Doomsday, again, that’s a Universal pic, so ad ad for ‘Hulk’ there isn’t out of place.

The teaser trailer has to show up at some point. (I expect a full trailer playing in early May, right in front of..what’s the name of it again…Iron something…haha) and 10.000 BC is the best place for it. Worse comes to worse, “fanboys” will find it on Quicktime, the film’s website, Youtube, Ifilm….somewhere. Corrrect?

Looks like the new Dark Knight trailer will be inserted before this movie too!The one focused on Two face.
I will be forced to see this!

thats interesting….but something about 10,000 BC doesnt appeal to me. it just looks like a pg-13 apacolypto with the typical fancy pants effects and stuff….typical fluff if u ask me…

but the hulk preview is cool. unfortunately i doubt its gonna be a full trailer, i hope so tho….i just wanna see how this is gonna look, i wanna see it in action. im pretty excited about this new hulk movie and i hope it wont disappointed

when star wars eepisode 1 the phantom menacemovie came out me and my older cousins and older brother whent into the movie theatre saw the trailer and just left- we went in for the trailer alone and i dont even remember what the movie was
but im ACTUALLY watching 10,000 b.c.

oh yes. this will be great. im already watching that mamoth movie cuz it doesnt look bad- i hope its a good trailer.
i hope its not like a 30 secound teaser- instead a 2:34 minute action filled kickass preview
oh and guys- watch- hulk isnt going to have emo hair!LIKE I ALREADY SAYD in the movie ed norton has short hair remember!?
