First of all, see the movie. But he’s explaining the concept of drainage: If you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have straw, and it goes aaaaaaaallll the way across the room and into your milkshake, I drink your milkshake. In other words, I can actually suck up all your oil even if I am not directly above the source. I just need a big-ass straw.

I guess from the movie it can mean a few things: “I put up with your bullshit” “There’s nothing you can offer me anymore” and I guess milkshake can mean oil as well. When he says I drink your milkshake until there’s nothing left.

And I’m glad that Anderson is taking the milkshake craze in good humor. I heard somewhere that he was pissed off, claiming that it was undermining the film., and I was pissed at him for not recognizing the potential for free advertising this craze is creating. Glad to hear that rumor was unfounded. People will go see the movie just to hear that line and see what the fuss is about.
