I don’t really hate her, but something about her just annoys the hell out of me. I can’t stand it when she’s in a movie and try to avoid films with her in it (she almost ruined Sin City for me). I also completely didn’t understand it why people were hailing her as a “great” actress; she almost always does the same “whiny” thing.

She’s a pretty mediocre actress. She’s been gone a while and I didn’t miss her. She seems to play the same bug-eyed neurotic chick in every movie. I don’t hate her, but I saw this post and immediately shrugged and thought, “Meh.”

I was a big fan of her in Girl Interrupted. Unfortunately for her, she was outshone by Angelina Jolie’s performance in that movie. Come to find out, Angelina Jolie wasn’t really acting. ;)

Murphy’s best performance by far was her role in “Spun”. It was one of the most realistic portrayals of how the character would be in the respective real-life situation. Everything else was utterly forgettable.
