It would be great to get Adam Baldwin back to reprise his role from Predator 2 and play Garber, he could be the husband of Ms. Yutani. Also keep Robert Joy as Col. Stevens from AVP-R. Have someone play the role of Charles Bishop Weyland’s son, Robert Patrick maybe, so they can show them working together as a joint company.

It should start about a six months to a year after AVP-R, but it will have the company of now Weyland-Yutani Corp. back in Gunnison, Colorado examining the landing pod in the lake that the predator used in AVP-R then transporting it back to a research facility. Then you can show another team in Antarctica getting the frozen Alien Queen out of the water (She was still alive when she was sinking). Once they get her out, they transport her to the same Weyland-Yutani military research facility complete with military personnel, where they took the landing pod, on a remote tropical island somewhere. They thaw her out and chain her up, in order to produce more eggs. They then maybe have military prisoners and use them as hosts for the aliens. Have to have someone comment on the notes made by Lex(AVP) that the aliens appeared in about 10 minutes, now they are taking hrs (in alien it must of been maybe 2 or 3 hours?)and the other creatures (predators) must of been giving the queen some sort of drug to accelerate the process.

There would have to be the inevitable disaster in order to get the Aliens to start running a muck. Then we see a ship that looks like the ship that was found in the first Alien movie and seen in the extended edition of Aliens, this ship is used by the Space Jockies (the big creature in the chair in Alien) and the Predators to transport Alien eggs to other hunting grounds. While they are passing by Earth they do a scan for the heat and conflict they crave, the monitors could show some battles in Iraq and Afghanistan and then they discover that the Aliens are running a muck on the tropical Island with the Weyland-Yutani installation.

So they cloak the ship and land at a remote spot on the island. All 3 Predators leave the ship and the lone Space Jockey is left behind. Some scientists and military personnel at the facility noticed the atmospheric disturbance from the ship and see it land and with the thermal suits (like Predator 2) they do a recon mission to the ship (do not go inside). They place a sophisticated homing device on the outside of the ship and return to the base. While this is going the remaining military personnel, scientists, Aliens and Predators are fighting it out on the island.

The Queen and a drone can end up escaping and on the way to the ship she lays her egg that will house a super face hugger with a Queen and drone embryo(as in alien 3). She then instructs the drone and face hugger that is out of the egg to head to the ship (just as she instructed the drones in Aliens to back away from Ripley). She then turns back to fight the remaining 2 predators.

The Drone and face hugger make it to the ship where they go to the observatory with the big telescope, where the drone knocks out the Space Jockey and then it is impregnated by the face hugger. All the Aliens are killed on the island and 1 Predator remains and after he kills the queen he boards the ship to leave. (There will be NO explosion to kill everything on the island) The predator takes off in the ship and once the ship is on course he then proceeds to the observatory room where he sees the space jockey against the wall passed out. He scans the jockey and sees the queen embryo gestating inside.

The same face hugger tries to impregnate the Predator, but the he kills the face hugger. Then the drone emerges and a fight happens between him and the Predator. In the final blows of the fight, the Alien is thrown to the floor and he stabs the Predator through the neck with his tail and with his last breath the predator decapitates the alien and collapses on top of the acid bleeding drone. The acid melts a hole in the deck (Like the hole in Alien.) and the now melting predator falls down the hole with the drone.

You could then go back to the Weyland-Yutani scientist tracking the ship, and then go back to the Space Jockey ship a few hours later when the Space Jockey comes to. He then hops into the big telescope chair and then you can show the Space Jockey convulsing with the Queen trying to get out, he uses the telescope chair to locate a planet to land / crash on, he then resets the computer to land / crash on a planet LV-426(from Alien and Aliens) He then sets the computer to issue the warning signal, after that the Queen bursts out of his chest killing him. The ship crashes and the hull breach occurs and the atmosphere gets in and makes the space jockey look as if it has been fossilized, And then the Queen chestburster goes down the hole made by the drone.

Once the ship comes to a stop the last thing you see is the Queen going through the ship and then the camera pulls back and you see of all the eggs that Kane saw in the first Alien movie complete with the mist and the blue barrier. This is how Weyland-Yutani Corp. knows about the ship and Alien in the first Alien movie, because it has the homing device on it. Plus it has the warning from the space jockey that mother and Ripley deciphered in Alien.

I think this would be a good way to meld the story lines together.
Perhaps Shane Black, who has written a few action films and even starred in the first Predator movie could write and direct it to bring a familiar element into the mix.

When the first Alien movie came out I was one of about 15 people in the cinema watching it...tried to tell everyone how good it was..they figured it out. When Aliens 2 came out everyone watched it.Made a bunch of money and showed that humans were not just "in the way" like some idiots have stated in their posts. If I remember right, about a dozen marines took out about 400 aliens...and that's before they blew up the whole complex and killed the rest!.(See extended version to see how many they kill with their automatic perimeter weapons before they run out of ammo.) In the original Predator movie didn't the human win? Hardly "in the way of a good movie." By the way..they do have honor...or a code. Remember the pregnant cop in Pred 2? Remember how they don't kill you if your not a threat? Maybe some of you morons should watch the movies again. The basis for the success of Alien 1 and 2 and Pred 1 and 2 is that HUMANS are faced with overwhelming odds of technology and ferocity and still find a way to win. Notice I'm ignoring Aliens 3. This movie was made for about 200 dollars and written so horribly that it destroyed the franchise. Most fans turned their backs and never came back.Even bringing Ripley back for #4 couldn't save it. (Not a bad movie though). So really...there was nowhere else to go but join the two and make money off losers who love movies with no plot and bloodbaths galore. I didn't spend a cent to see either one, but wasted my time to watch them on TV...the moving, shifting pyramid had me rolling on the floor...and the ridiculous "were going to make another movie" ending where the supposedly intelligent Preds (They do have starships and weaponry second to none") haul their dead comrade aboard implanted with an Alien...You wonder how they got so stupid...gee I guess they didn't know the aliens could do that...Duhhhhh. Anyway , when I got done laughing I thought..."Thank God..that should kill off anymore of these pathetic attempts to cash in on 2 once good ideas that have been lowered to buffoon status. But once again ,proving they can do even worse...and that there are people out there with movie IQ's of 1 and lower (Out of 10)...they actually made another one. And some of you actually are on here talking about it!!! Like it was good...hey maybe in this one the Aliens could enter the Matrix and implant Neo...and then agent Smith could fight Predators...the sad thing is many of you would pay money to see it....idiots....

well i wanted to whatch AVP last night, but found out i lost my disk...so i had to settle for AVP-R. Anyways...came on to see if there was any talk about a number 3 yet. So obviously...i think the 1st one was much better, it had a better story, better acting, and better directing.

Think its cool that they're taking it into space. Would love for at least part of the story to take place on the Predator's home planet...since we've never seen that before (other than 2 seconds in AVP-R)

Would also love to see a 3rd predator [only] film. I always got the predators back..cuz the aliens are punks... like over grown cock roaches that spit acid.

I would love to see either a 3rd predator or AVP film, but think a 3rd of either of those that was (co)written and more importantly produced and directed by JJ Abrams would make for an exceptionally good film.

I just watched predator last night and it holds up very well with the effects even though it is 22 years old. I loved the first movie and enjoyed the 2nd and it was neat to see the aliens skull on the ship in predator 2. and alien and aliens were fantatic too. but it should of ended after aliens, in fact in my collection i don't own 3 or 4. They should use my idea above and tie in both series. even in the first alien movie the company already knew about the alien and had a rough idea what was going to happen to kane. Ash was looking at him funny at the table. and in the first AVP they must of known something about the creatures since they brought the weapons with them.

I completely agree with some people about how the AVP movies have a lot of things wrong, but I disagree with the people who want an Alien 5, or Predator 3. Go and re-watch Alien 3 and 4, and Predator 2, they weren't exactly brilliant, they were far from it, the Alien series should have finished with Alien 2, and Predator should have been a once off. They were very scary, Im no expert, but Im sure mant people will agree with me. Also, to those people who think the younger generation will miss out on the classics, don't worry, I'm young and have seen all of them, and I know that many others of the younger generation have as well, just because AVP is shiny and new, doesn't mean we think its better that the classics. But despite everything I have said, I would still love to see an AVP 3, lets just hope they get this right, who knows, it may even be half decent.

...(a recap to my comment) Maybe the reason why people didn't dee the Predators in any of the Alien movies (coming from Predator 2, where Alien skull is seen in trophy room) is because the Predators are at war with the Aliens. Some catastrophe happens and the Predaotr homeworld is overrun by Aliens.
Years after that, humans (scientist and marines) fly throgh space and accidently find a battle between the Predators and Aliens as the Predators have decided to wipe out the Alien species for good. Seeing the opportunity to steal Pred tech and capture live Aliens, the idiotic scientists force their ship to land...
Then, all hell breaks loose as the Predators fight to survive and to keep their tech from falling into their prey's hands. As the fight for survival and domination rages, the Alien caste system is in a frenzy...
In one of the unseen battles, a PredAlien was born and is now an adult queen which threatens the current queen. Having two queens, the Alien drones are confused on who to follow (seeing they can't kill a queen who is the key for their species' future; instinct to not kill their species' future)
In the end, the humans die and Predators leave to get reinforcement and the Aliens are left with social disturbence.

Having two queens, the Alien drones are confused on who to follow (seeing they can’t kill a queen who is the key for their species’ future; instinct to not kill their species’ future)
In the end, the humans die and Predators leave to get reinforcement and the Aliens are left with social disturbence.

I liked the Avp movies for Aliens and Predators... after reading (most of) the comments, I agree that some human factors messed the franchise up so bad.
I got an idea for the third movie: humans (scientists and marines) fly into space (after Alien Ressurection), they accidently find an Alien infested planet and what they know the Predators and Aliens are at war...
