I take a day off commenting on the site and see what happens? You folks change the whole darned thing around…and what a marvelous job it is. The best yet.

Now, for Lost Boys 2.

I am only mildly interested because the director is PJ Pesce, who helmed the third From Dusk Til Dawn flick, but also that execellent cable film The Desperate Trail.

I’m also giving LB2 a look on video. I mean, y’know if I can give Wrong Turn 2 the time of day…I could do the same for Lost Boys 2. However, the script is written by Hans Rodionoff. That’s cause for alarm in my book.

I don’t know if that was Haim in that brief moment. If they do knock him off (by vampire) in the opening reel then this already has one strike against it. My thought is that there is a Haim cameo, but Sam isn’t knocked off.

The Cry Litter Sister is re-recorded. HOWEVER the int’ friends need a head check. Gerald McMann is still singing the song, as he also has a number of new songs for the soundtrack.

As for MTV not being able to show *the trailer* to my Canada friends, I am not shocked. MTV has had thier heads up thier rear end for a at least fifteen years. I promise I won’t rant on them…I promise…

Hey Meli,

So I’ve seen the trailer and umm…yeah…this has Straight to DVD written all over it. Also, I think Corey Haim is shown in a quick frame in the shower with someone. My thoughts is that Sam gets killed off very early on in the movie. (This could explain why it was so easy to get him back for reshoots.)

Okay so let’s redo some shots from the original movie (the vampire characters face hiding in the dark looks familiar), but with different actors that look similar to the original cast i.e. Kiefer Sutherlands in particular. Add some up to date stunts i.e. vampires and motorbikes worked well last time…Mmmm…let’s do that again. Then get a band to cover the original track (that is if this is a cover, can’t tell because it sounds the same as the first freakin’ film!!!!).

Just watch the f**king original and move on!
