Twentieth Century Fox may have made great films in the passed and still do. In fact I even enjoyed Eragon (as cheesy as it was). But what I hate about Fox is when they cut so much out of the frickin' movies. I mean I hate how short the films are. Babylon A.D. is screwed. I'm starting to hate the morons at Fox. Almost every company that distributes movies is better than Fox. Most of their movies are slammed by critics even the ones I liked. They come up with the dumbest ideas. Like Alvin and the Chipmunks. They took a film that not only could've made a film that not only kids would favor, but also critics. And guess what happen there. This goes with Are we Done Yet? and Daddy Day Camp. I don't get what is with Fox. All they want to do is make a movie where they care if anyone will like it. They'll have a script rushed and some odd jobs for the role and they get money. Can anyone just make movies just for the love of movies anymore instead of making lame-brain pieces of crap just for a quick buck?!!!?

Yeah I agree it does seem that a lot of cool films get the pg-13 cut and then release a 20 dollar unrated dvd or alternate ending cut.

Its pretty blatant at this point there trying to get the kids into the seats.

Your gonna see this a lot more I'm afraid. Speed Racer is going to make "Chipmonk"cash here in a few weeks.

I'm not giving up on this film yet however. A lot of people hated the Pitch Black films but not this smartass.
Vin Diesel (ImO) made Riddick a bonafied movie anti-hero.
Cronicles of Riddick I felt was massivly underated and I still love watching it on dvd (not bluRay) every now and again.

Though I have to add that once a blue moon when the collaborate with a huge director they make a good 130+ minutes long movie.

AVATAR could be that.

Hmmm. I am guessing that a lot of dubbing was done in post production. But ya i am pretty sure the movie was never 160 minutes long. No fucking way. If anything I have seen fox prefers to make their movie max. 120 minutes long and then edit stuff out to keep it in 90-105 minutes range running time when the movie hits theatres.
