Lindsay Lohan to go nude for $75,000
Lindsay Lohan has the plan. She is going to prove that she is a serious actor by doing an indie film for a paultry $75k. Don’t care? Well she hopes you will because she’s going full nude.
Lindsay Lohan has offered to bare all on screen for just $75,000.The troubled actress is reportedly set to play a sex-hungry waitress in upcoming low-budget film ‘Florence’.Producers were happy for Lindsay to appear topless but she was keen to go naked to prove herself as a mature actress. A source said: “She just wants to remind people that she can act and she’s worth hiring.
She said it would be no problem to appear nude.”
I can understand the actress doing something low budget and indie just to prove she can act, but never have I assumed that an actress willing to do nude shots is any indication of maturity. Well, beyond being old enough to do so without getting someone a prison sentence anyways.
I fear that her good intentions will be over shadowed by the media buzz popularity contest when people flock to this just because she is naked in it. She’s going indie to prove she can act and saying, “please come watch my film” and the drooling pap will be standing in line chanting “BOOBIES!! BOOBIES!!” Going naked in a movie means nothing when she appeared in nude pictorial in last month’s issue of New York magazine.
And the “sex hungry waitress” role just implies this will be b-movie softcore porn with repeated sex scenes with Lohan. It is sensationalism, nothing more. We have seen her in “adult roles” before and the movies just didn’t work. I am sure she CAN do them. But there are clearly other reasons she is not getting hired.
We’ve seen the goods Lilo… we know you are an adult. Just stop abusing drugs and alcohol, hold yourself with some decorum of class on set, and eat a sammich. There’s your comeback plan!
Umm…actually, I heard that she offered to get nekkid, and the makers of the film said no.

I have to agree with Kristina. The producers of the film most likely saw her striptease in I know who killed me and laughed thier asses off.
No seriously- Lohan must be 100% clean even for low budget fare. Nobody’s going to bet on you if you might OD the next day. You are deemed ‘a risk’. By the way, why is it that an actor or actress has to do a nude scene “to be taken seriously”? There are plenty of roles in low budget indie fare that don’t require T&A and those actors/actresses do just fine.
Unseriously, Lohan should inquire about the DTV sequel to Embrace The Vampire, where in the first film, (DTV) Alyssa Milano lost her top, and you know… we sure as hell took her seriously….

I think both of them have got the wrong idea about being taken seriously as actresses. Try to take a part where it will challenge your acting skills instead saying to your produces that “I will or will not get naked because I want to be taken seriously”.
Darren’s right. If a studio can’t get insurance for you while you’re filming their movie, you ain’t getting cast, and at risk stars routinely are not insured. That’s why Favreau had to fight like hell to get Downey for Iron Man.
I agree with Krazie835. It is ridiculous to think that being naked on screen or not would have any correlation to being a good actress. Being naked just to be naked is certainly not the answer and being clothed to have people take you seriously is not the answer either; although it may be a little closer. The point Krazie has is excellent; it is about whether you take a role that challenges your talent and prove to be good or not. That is what being taken seriously is about; acting!
I read the other day that her mom/manager Dina said she wasn’t going to be nude and it’s not even a 100% that she’s going to do the movie.

Not into to redheads. She is a decent actor and just needs to do roles where she wont be hit to hard by the media. So she should choose roles not where she is nude but really a character we can relate to and care about.

75000$? Wow, I didn’t actually think she would be that cheap. Proves once again that being tabloid fodder doesn’t actually help your career.
You’d think that she learned her lesson from those terrible topless photos she took for that magazine a little while back. Remember the giant collective “Meh?” that was let out by the world? They were forgotten in a week. If she thinks that flashing her ginger field is gonna make her credible, she’s got another thing coming. I honestly don’t see why people hyped her up to begin with. She got lucky with Mean Girls, and she was nothing spectacular in that film. She’s never impressed me in any of her films.
Hey, people! Leave the stripper alone and let her get on camera! There’s nothing wrong with being totally naked in a film, and yes, it will make her a better actress… Maybe she’ll get big bucks in porn next!
BTW, for those that don’t think going naked helps get better jobs, Halle Berry did her “topless” scene (which was a big deal) in Swordfish, then a few years later won an Oscar. It can happen!
