This Monday’s Podcast Will Be A Mailbag Edition
Hey there guys! Just so you know, this week’s Monday Uncut podcast will be a mailbag edition. I’ve got a lot of email the last month or so asking for another one, so here it is! So here’s what we need you to do. Email me (john@themovieblog.com) any topic or question you would like brought up on the podcast.
The mailbag installments are always a little more casual, so feel free to bring up stuff related to the movies, or to The Movie Blog specifically… whatever you want. When you and doug were writing a comedy once you said you went to the movies and saw a film which was so similar you canned your script.
What was the film? Its been driving me crazy for some reason…I have to know.

How do you think this summer’s stock of films will stack up against the summer of 2007? Both quality and box office wise?
Are you going to restart the tvshow blog? Because we seriously need a place to talk about battlestar galactica. I literally just this minute finished watching the latest episode as I have been away on business and holy fucking shit…this season is insane. I love it.
Considering your background with seminary and your own documentary, I am curious about what your thoughts are on Ben Stein’s “Expelled”?
Have there been any disappointments as far as movies go this year for you? Have there been any pleasant surprises as well?
Also, when are more commentaries coming? Commentaries with Sharon and Ashley would be pretty cool and acceptable by me.
John, when it was announced that ST XI was moved to May 2009 TMB stated it was due to script problems and the writer’s strike.
Yet the movie finished prinicipal photography the last week of March, a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.
Do you feel this places any greater merit on Paramount’s stated reason for the move as being to position the film as a summer blockbuster?
