Fame Casting Call
The remake of the classic film “Fame” has put out an open casting call “for several lead roles”. The casting call looks something like this:
Welcome to the FAME online audition site. We are currently casting several lead roles in the Lakeshore Entertainment/MGM feature film remake of the 1980 hit FAME. We are looking for young, talented actors, singers, dancers and musicians. If you are aged 14 to 20 and look under 18, please submit an audition online (required dialogue and monologue will be provided once you have completed the sign up process). You may also submit up to a minute of an additional talent (a monologue, dancing, singing, slam poetry or playing of an instrument) for consideration. We will watch all auditions submitted. We hope to call back the best of these auditions for a second round of auditions in Hollywood.

no…this is for real. I went to the High School Musical 3 audition in sault lake city and Kenny Ortega told us all himself, ‘I’m only looking for 16 principal dancers for this movie, but don’t be upset if you dont pick you, because once I’m finished casting for this movie, I’ll be holding an even bigger casting call for the movie Fame that I’m going to be producing…’

are you still open for auditions. i am a singer, dancer and do comedy monologues, and this has been my dream. It does not say what the reply dates are. Please let me know.

This kid Austin Farmer is 16 yrs old – he can act, sing like crazy and perform. He is also in a band called The Bolts – The Bolts are about to sign with a major label. Austin is super talented kid!
