Just another thing George and I have in common. Both 1/2 Irish. Both have worked in tobacco. Both have lived in the south. Both have been in leatherheads ( although if I had been in charge I wouldn't have left him on the cutting room floor). I always wanted to work with goats. I couldn't help but notice the goats in the picture seem to be Sannans. Thats the type of goat that I was going to buy. They are great milk producers. Unfortunately after I tasted the cheese I found it way to sour and decided I would go off in another direction. Perhaps chickens..........Perhaps toorrow? If George happens to read this...........I am available to fill in as a extra once again....Abuse me if you must....Just remember, it isn't very nice now is it? :)

This is wild. This weird story of military types doing this as some mind experiment (a la MK-Ultra or something) has been around in the fringes of the fringe UFO High Strangeness literature for some years. And I use the term literature loosely! What is this film? A comedy? An allegory? Both? A bump for the new X-Files film? Oh wait, that's coming out first... but time may not be relevant in so odd a universe! lol! ;p

It's not a cool effects movie.

The Men Who Stare At Goats is a 2004 non-fiction book by Jon Ronson about the US Army's exploration of New Age concepts and the potential military applications of the paranormal. The book also examines connections between these military programs and psychological techniques being used for interrogation in the War on Terror.
