Movie Blog Uncut – May 19th 2008
Hey there guys. This is the final pre-recorded Uncut podcast from Los Angeles for a little while. I’ll be heading back to Canada later this week where once again Doug, Darren and Bruxy will be joining me for Monday round talbes! First one is this coming Monday! But for now there are still a few things to talk about, and so today I discuss:
1) Indiana Jones 4
2) The discussion and debate around my article “5 Ways Iron Man Was Better Than Batman Begins”
3) Transformers 2 and Soundwave
4) Point Break 2 to include Patrick Swayze?

Ahhh good podcast John too bad I wasnt there to debate things with ya. I havent seen Indiana Jones yet so I cant say anything except the trailers made me feel like the movie was going to be like the other films. It be great to do a follow-up topic on what ppl thought after the film comes out. However, with the whole Batman and Iron-man post I think the title of the topic was mis-typed. By that I mean it would have been better to title it”5 Things I liked better about Iron-man than Batman Begins.” That way your not imposing to readers that your thinking Iron-man is a better film and your also talking about specific things. But thats just a thought, not telling you how to do your job. Also be great to do a follow up on this after you see The Dark Knight. I hope and pray Soundwave will have Frank Welker to do his voice and he is some kinda Audio equipment Like a Transmiter or something.
Where is the ‘5 Things I liked better about Iron-man than Batman Begins’ entry? I searched but it doesn’t return any results…
Iron Man has one cheesy line by Tony Stark, ‘I just finally know what I have to do. And I know in my heart that it’s right’. I chuckled quite a bit.

There was a competition held to see if a fan could design Soundwave for TF2 back after Transformers was released. The winner has had the design approved and this *should* be the final design of Soundwave – but you know what politics are like in Hollywood.

I think it is a tremendous design a suits the classic look of Soundwave very well while modernizing his look and correcting the variable size differential (small cassette player to 50 ft tall robot) of the G1 version.
Ok John I am still a little confuzed so please just make this clear…..If you had to give Batman Begins 1-10 what whould you give it? and then what would you give Iron Man from 1-10

All you have to do is search through the reviews. I gave Batman Begins an 8/10 and I just gave Iron Man an 8.5/10
i do not agre with john. yes iron man is better than batman begins but two films are suck. 8-8,5 is too much.
