Spirit Poster/Release Date Moved To Christmas
We have an image and an announcement regarding the Spirit thanks to our good friends over at moviesonline:

I like this poster! It has been some time since I have seen brick letters! What a fantastic touch.
The film was originally scheduled for a release of January 16th, 2009 but will now be upon us for the Christmas holiday season according to ReelComix.
I have liked what I have seen so far from this project. My only concern is that it looks quite similar stylistically to Sin City. I love the look of Sin City however, and if the same style works for this film, why not.

the release date has been moved to christman? must be a new character.
Christman Freeman?
Christ-man is the superhero version of Jesus
Christ-man Versus Iron Man!
WHO WILL WIN!!!
Sorry, Doug. I just got carried away.
HAHAHHA
Christman is only introduced in this film, he will be a full fledged hero by the second.
The movie looks kinda cool, i love the noir look of it. What bugged me about the trailer was that it looked like he was skating on running on the roof.
Maybe he can join forces with the The Hebrew Hammer and 4 other spiritual superheroes to form the Sacred Squad Six!
I get the feeling that the style of the movie (ala Sin City) will soon go the way of Bullet-Cam (Matrix). Still, I will be in the theater to see this one.
This is really gonna we one movie i would watch out for.

I really know nothing about this story(everyone says its so great), so i look forward to this movie.
My city farts.
same style as sin city
Id rather have a sin city sequel though. DO you have any information about that?
But ill be excited for any Frank Miller movie
i dont know about this….with my limited knowledge of the spirit, i dont think it should look like a sin city rip off……ill hold off judgement until a real trailer debuts
Any guesses for what it’ll be rated? I don’t know the story well.
General public will go into thid thinking it’s Sin City 2. Guarantee you some fuck will cry out, “Where’s Jessica Alba?”
