An assistant mentioned that traffic is closed off to prevent unwanted reflections in the windows of the cafe - I'd never thought of that - it must be a HUGE pain to film in busy downtown areas - woohoo abandoned Detroit! They had an old car (dark sedan, not quite black) that they had parked at a three-way intersection (no lights or stop signs). Looked like they took shots from outside and inside the car.
