Bryce Howard and Topher Grace were the worst part of Spider-Man 3. Claire Danes is much better.

I agree with you. She was also in Lady in the Water and under used again. I hope she gets to show her true talent. If given the chance I think we will see a lot more of her.

According to the IMDB site, it looks as though Bryce is replacing Charlotte Gainsbourg, not Claire Danes.

Claire Danes a “hard shoe to fill”? She was beyond bland in that movie. I’m all for replacing her, and Bryce is a lovely girl who was horribly underutilized in Spiderman 3.

I don’t get this. I could have sworn I read Danes had already signed on (years ago) to a potential T4. How did she get out of that???

I am just glad that in this movie she is Kate Connor because the name Brewster didn’t suit the movie. Thats far from the point i know but worth mentioning.

As for the point at hand… i stuggle to see Howard in this role as she has rarely been seen (as far as i am aware) in an outspoken role… Spider-man 3 doesn’t exsist to me so you can’t include that. Who knows she might turn out to do well… we shall see.
