I think it’s all very likely we’ll see RDJ signed up for this role, but only issue with this project is that Ratner is directing. I’m hoping he’ll pull a rabbit out of his hat and surprise us all.

Hef is saying He HOPES Downey will do it. Nowhere in that paragraph did I see that a contract was signed.
