Well, that's a very vague definition. The first film, before all the sequels, should properly lay out a firm, solid foundation and the following installments should proceed from there...

This movie would've been below average for me, if the idea didn't have a lot of potential. I really quite liked the idea of what he is, and his mom being a Paladin and all that, but that's as far as it gets. There wasn't much of a purpose, and the plot was a lost cause.

The character 'Griffin' is one part that was good, because his presence explained the purpose of Paladin, but there were some contradictions. His character has a potential of being the main character in possible spin-offs.

I hope they don't revert him to a side-kick in the next installments.

The romantic aspect of it was so cliched, and quite typical, but I can't complain; that isn't the most important part of the plot.

I just hope the next movie is fleshed out from every aspect, and they wouldn't waste the opportunity of making this 'trilogy' reach it's full potential.

I'd definitely give it another shot.

So many have said this. "It needs to be fixed; the plot was a mess" and I want some ideas. Why did you think it was a mess and what could they have done better?

ok this is what i hate about forums every tom dick and harry thinks they're a critic, the thing i hate about critics they never compliment a good movie they point out all the flaws, why dont you people stick to what you do best, leave the criticism to the critics that way they can cop shit for being pricks and shitting on a good film, use your imagination and have a sense of fun the movie was good, as for "him not having a rhyme or reason to jumping where he does" put yourself in his shoes if you could do what he can do would u jump places for a reason? or live life exploring the world and having fun? i know what i'd be doing

I don't think all the haters appreciate the concept of this movie. Teleportation has to be intense, and the movie portrayed this aspect very well. Unfortunately, all these haters probably saw the movie in some crappy theatre or with their crappy entertainment system. In order to enjoy the movie you have to feel the sense of chaos that a jumper would feel going from one end of the planet to another in an instant. One hater said it was disjointing, of course, another said that the story did not make any sense, it did. Let me break it down for those people who have a hard time understanding space-time science fiction. A man can teleport anywhere in the world, he can wake up in NY, brush his teeth in Paris, then step outside into the streets of Hong Kong. Before someone gets accustomed to this life it would seem disjointing, and thats what the movie protrayed wonderfully. Haters need to understand the concept before the make stupid comments. If your constantly trying to dissect the movie, then your not allowing yourself to get caught up in the storyline. Learn to enjoy a movie and maybe you will be able to appreciate it.
