Bret just gave me the heads up on the new James Bond “Quantum of Solace” trailer going online (will we ever get used to that title?). It’s not bad… nothing mind blowing, but not bad at all.

I fucking love it.
Graig looks great and the action scenes promise to be awesome.
I love the “Bourne-style” they are going with and you can see that those action scenes were directed by the same teams. I thought Jason Bourne was a fairly boring, unengaging character, but the action in those movies was great.
Bond is far from being an uninteresting character, so they are combining two great ingredients in this films in my opinion.

I completely agree that Jason Bourne was a completely boring and uninteresting character; the only good part about the Bourne movies were the action scenes. I even found the story to be unengaging.
John I have to disagree with you about the new Bond trailer, it looks freaking fantastic and blows my mind completely. I fucking love it that Bond seems to be making it personal and is on a quest for vengeance. I can’t wait for November. I’m even warming up to the name “Quantum of Solace”

It’s looking good so far. My only concern is the whole ‘Bond gone rogue’ angle which we’ve seen before. I didn’t know they were going to do that again.

I disagree about Bourne i loved the character and the Bourne trilogy hooked me more than any Bond movie has.
