Russell Crowe's accent already resembles something that would fit in another version Robin Hood... though he'll probably have to get a bit slimmer than what his recent role in Body of Lies

I thought Maid Marion was pure!?

Sienna is a little hottie and yes she can act. She was in a movie noir about Andy Warhol and she did a fantastic job, I thought. As for this iteration of the man in tights, I'm left wondering WHY. Why the need for the same, regurgitated stories over and over again, from Hollywood? And I'm looking for a better answer than "money".

Sorry Doug, but romance has always been a major element of the Robin Hood story, and every film version.

What I'm skeptical of is taking one of the the great underdogs-against-corrupt-power stories and turning it into a noble law maker fights evil criminal story. The great charm and appeal of this story (at least for me) has always been the message that determined and righteous individuals can fight back against corruption and tyranny and win. I hope they at least keep Prince John as a bad guy.
